Illumination of a button, like MASTER CAUTION

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody !

First of all, I want you to excuse me for my english, I hope it will be comprehensible, but not perfect ;)

I just discovered a function in FSUIPC. You can fake a mouse deplacement, to push the MASTER CAUTION button which is not configurable with a key of the keyboard in FSX for instance ;)

And there we are: can someone tell me how to do, in the case of a home built cockpit, to make this button illuminated, by activating the "macro" of the mouse simulated by FSUIPC? ( master caution illuminates in real life, you push, and it turns off --> in my cockpit, how can I do this ?Maybe another function of FSUIPC or something else ? )

Thanks for everything !

Really? In which aircraft is this?

Are you talking about the on-screen gauge button, or a real hardware button? FSUIPC is not a hardware driver, so for external hardware you'd need to do some programming. If you mean a screen gauge in an FS aircraft then the button should surely only light if there were a caution condition, and not many of those are simulated in FS itself, so what aircraft are you using which does have cautions and doesn't bother to light the button?
