Problem adding GA-aircraft to the MYT aircraft database

Hello Burkhard and all forum members, reading this.

First of all: Best wishes to all for 2013.

A couple of weeks ago, I bought meMYT_5.4B for use wih Prepar3D (for FSX, I use MYT-2010).

What I would like to do with MYT_5.4B and P3D is to make some specific domestic flightplans for Dutch airports, using exclusively GA-Aircraft, no airliners, but private planes, which also fly in reality with the realistic registrations. I studied the manual, but found it too difficult to add those GA-planes to the aircraft database in a proper and right way, so that the plane can be used for creating a MySchedule flightplan.

Could I get some help in explaining me, step by step, how to add a GA-plane ( no airliner) to the database. Thanks in advance.

Henk

How to add aircraft is explained in detail in the MyTraffic editor manual, just work through this. Makes no sense to copy these pages here.

Mostly, you have to understand the difference between series, types and planes, and create the series if it does mot exist, and the type and then create planes for the type.

Of course you have to verify that the planes that you use are capable to be flown as AI, which is not warranted und unlikely for normal user planes.
