hi1pie
Hello, I noticed yesterday that all the Mirage 3's take incredibly long to take off, the a/c i watched was a south african airforce jet that started its take off roll at the begining of runway 01 at AFB Waterkloof (FAWK) it took the entire length of the (approx 2km runway) and some more before it started its take off roll
Burkhard
I can have a look. You can try yourself if you edit the aircraft.cfg and move the contact point of the rear gears a feet further front - with to much if will start like an rocket and crash then. hi1pie
how do I edit them in the aircraft cfg? i can only see a whole bunch on numbers
Burkhard
The first line ist the front gear, the next two are the rear gears, left an right. The second number, -27.250, is the on in question, start with -25.000 as example and see what happens.
terhi
I have the same problem with incredibly long take-off runs - both in FSX and P3D. The second number, -27.250, is the on in question, start with -25.000 as example and see what happens. Burkhard, I tried your fix in P3D, but the only effect was to make the mirage climb more or less steeply. Maybe Hi1pie can have a go and report back. hi1pie
I have tried it but this does not seem to fix the problem, I also see it climbing better but it's still rotating in the bushes, it could just be me but I also noticed the a/c parking farther forward in the bays
