Flight plan loading

Recommended Posts

Good evening Volker

Have recently purchased FSC, and am enjoying the facilities that it provides. I am having one small problem, when I first create a flight plan and take off the GPS functions correctly going from waypoint to waypoint. I have then noticed that if I then save the flight in flight sim and then reload it at a later time the GPS for the flight plan will sometimes pick up the route to the next waypoint and then sometimes it will start from the first waypoint out from the airport. I have tried to save just the flight in the simulator itself, I have then tried under the 'flight plan' tab hitting save, both before saving the actual flight and after, I have also tried 'Save As' both before and after saving the flight. I have tried looking via the search on the forum and I have also read through the manual, although I will say that it is possible that I have missed something somewhere, but I cant seem to find any clue as to the correct course of action to get the flight plan to load up with the previous waypoints still showing as having been passed on a regular basis.

My Set up is as follows

1) FSX

2) 4.853

3)Version 9.2.1 Build date 28-July-2012

4)Downloaded from website

5)Windows 7 (64)

Any help from yourself or my fellow users is very much appreciated, even if just a point in the right direction with a previous forum post or page in the manual.

Kind Regards

Paul Curran

Hi Paul,

the FSCommander does not save a current situation.

If the flight plan is loaded again, then flight starts again at the departure airport.

The difference in observation you made, I can not verify.

It's like real life. The pilot can not go home and fly again tomorrow.

Paul, I just realised you have FSUIPC on your system. I think for the Autosave function to work you need a registered version (latest is 4.864).
