Setting FSX realism settings (like P-Factor) via FSUIPC possible ?

Recommended Posts

In the documentation of addon aircraft there are sometimes recommendations for the simulator realism settings like P-Facvtor, Torque etc.

These recommendations may be different from addon to addon, so

- would it be possible to set them from FSUIPC ?

- would this make sense ?

If yes, with a registered copy of FSUIPC we could read those settings from an aircraft section so that every addon aircraft gets its correct value.

Would be a nice to have...

Thanks, CHB

No, sorry. I don't know anyway to change them without using the FS menus.

You might be able to have a Lua plug-in which does it via the menus. There are examples of changing menu entries via Lua provided in your FSUIPC documents folder -- one for Fuel and one for Payload. You could problably adapt those to change the aircraft realism menu instead, then have that running from an [Auto ...] section in the INI for each aircraft/profile.
