Upgrade License to P3D for P3D installed ona different disc

Hi,

Exactly one month ago, I purchased MyTrafficX 5.4B for FSX thinking that it could be installed also on P3D. But, after re-reading the product description on SimMarket, I realized there was an upgrade from FSX to P3D for only 10 Euro (ex VAT).

So, today I purchased the upgrade license and, soon after completing the order, I found out something else: the upgrade is a patch for an existing installation rather than a full installer.

I am slowly abandoning FSX in favor of P3D (I would have already abandoned FSX if Aivlasoft offered already a version of their add-on for P3D).

My problem is this: currently I run FSX and P3D on the same computer but installed on different removable dedicated boot drives, with the objective to keep separate installations not interfering with one another.

That means, if the installer I purchased one month ago for FSX is good only for FSX, will I be able to install it on P3D and then run the updater/upgrader patch?

I really don't want to spend another 40 Euro for a full P3D installer. And I hope you won't make me do that, knowing that I cannot use both versions at the same time.

Please let me know what can be done.

Cheers

Nic

PS ... please let me know if you need details of both orders.

The purpose of the update is to convert a version for FSX into one for P3D, and if you want to use both you just have to copy the installation once. In addition I will send you a PM.

Thank you very much for your help.

Cheers

Nicola
