AFavors
Hello all, I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem. I've noticed recently that after every flight I complete, FSUIPC disappears from the add-ons window. I fly online on the IVAO network. and after flight I disconnect from their network. and even if I'm doing a turn-around FSUIPC IS GONE!! Meaning I have to completely close FSX and restart it again. (Thus putting me way outside my time-based flight window.) I've updated to 4.91 and installed widefs as a part of it but cant afford to register WIDEFS as of yet. Is there a remedy for this or is it just the way it has to be for now? Thanks in advance, Aaron
Pete Dowson
I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem. I've noticed recently that after every flight I complete, Well there's no way FSUIPC simply closes up and goes home. Have you checked the log file? Sounds like SimConnect is stalling. If so there'll be lots of log entries showing FSUIPC complaining about getting no data from SmConnect and trying to reconnect. Maybe when you disconnect from the IVAO network that somehow also causes SimConnect to stop communicating? Pete
AFavors
Hello Pete, Sorry for the long delay, but I too believe that is the case. If it is, is there any fix or way around this, that you know of?

If it is, is there any fix or way around this, that you know of? Did you check the FSUIPC log to confirm this? Without such information everything is pure guesswork. If SimConnect and FSX don't get enough processing time, there's no answer but to give them more -- a more powerful PC or less loading on the one you have.
