nixdevelopment
Dear Manuel, please try downloading and installing update 3.3.10 again. When you try to activate your TOPER 777 copy, you can use only one serial key. If you have activated TOPER 777 using a different serial then you must use that original serial key-no other key will work on you machine. Please let me know if you are still having problems with this after the new download/install. Kind regards.

Daniel Baker
Hi there, Recently purchased this product - thank so much creating it, very useful. Yesterday I took off from SCEL and the suggested performance put me off the end of the runway. (I have a screenshot, but the max attachment size is too small to allow me to upload it - can I send another way?) Here are the parameters: SCEL Flap 20 RWY17L A/C ON FULL A/I OFF DRY RTG TO-2 160/5 kt 15C 1022 HPa ----------------- 223000 KG ----------------- Boeing 777-200LR/GE90-110B1L ----------------- Flap 20 V1 155 SCEL/17L VR 155 V2 154 TOGW D-TO-2 SEL TEMP 223000 70C ----------------- The V speeds look suspect, don't they? Is there a method for choosing the best de-rate and flap? Maybe I'm using the tool incorrectly? Thanks, Daniel
nixdevelopment
Dear Daniel, on behalf of TOPER I apologize to the passengers and crew of that flight. In deed the V-speeds are erroneous as V2 can't be lower than Vr - at least not to my knowledge. Let me do some tests and I will let you know what is going on. Kind regards,
Daniel Baker
Great, thanks. Looking forward to your results. My other question is how to choose between the best derate and flap settings. - Daniel
nixdevelopment
Dear Daniel, sorry for the late reply. I am still working on getting to the bottom of this. When it comes to 'optimal' flap setting it depends on many factors, one of which is obstacles. Unfortunately TOPER doesn't take into account obstacles, but as a general rule 777 usually takes off with flaps 15. On shorter runways flaps 20 might be used and on long runways with low weight flaps 5 could also be considered. Same thing goes for the de-rate. Hope I managed to answer your question. Kind regards,

I think that would help enormously in making derate/flap decisions. Thanks for your consideration. Daniel

Thanks for your consideration. Daniel Dear Daniel, I will look into developing this option if I find appropriate data. One note though, this will not reflect actual FS performance meaning that due to FS actual takeoff run doesn't reflect the real life performance. Bulent98
I I dont understand it always gives me 70 sel temp what ever i do change the airport and so on, for example, i watch a Turkish Airlines video and they only had 31 temp and there takeoff weight was way heavier than mine please someone help
nixdevelopment
Hello there, for this runway length (~12.000ft) max TOW is around 340.000kg. This is why the SEL TEMP is maxed out at 70deg.

So in I want it to be realistic and I love your work very lovely program but this has been bugging me. nixdevelopment
Please note that real on-board performance software uses some inputs not available on TOPER. One of them would be the obstacle clearance data, which due to lack of availability of this data, is not being considered by TOPER.
