I have Updated my FSUIPC to 4.92 and something has gone wrong, I am hopiing you will be able to help, below I have listed my install log, my ini file and log.

 

Looking in registry for FSX install path:

I've never seen that error before, the only thing I can think of it make sure FSX really isn't running (rebooting is a sure fire way of proving that), and run the installer again, but right click on the installer and select "run as administrator".

Hi Andydigital,

 

The problem was DLL.XML file permission, so the installer runs but I cant register,  FSUIPC wont recognise my Product Key for registration. The error message says "Sorry, this key is not a valid 12 character" key

 

I have Copied and pasted the key from the Modules folder a couple of times but still no good, any ideas please.

Go to the simmarket website and login to your account, then check your purchase history and confirm the registration details there that you recorded at the time of purchasing FSUIPC. All three parts must be identical otherwise the registration will fail. Once you have the correct details run the installer again and enter them when prompted.
