hI there.

I need some help please if possible

Im running fsx

ive fsuipc/widefs installed and registered (the latest version)

fsc 9.4 version (demo) downloaded

windows 7 /64

Ive heared about fsc commander so thought i try it before i buy so i downloaded from the fsc website.

im trying to network fsc and followed instructions very carefully.

ive set up a network and shared the 2 files. fsx and my documents. Ive then tested to see if i can see these files across my network and i can see all the files that ive shared. ive mounted the fs2k4 folder and my documents folder in which i get 2more drives added on the client.

ok so when i run the fsc database manager i select drive z for fsx then i get message saying....copy scenery cfg from your windows system drive as scenerycfg.fsc to your fsx path.

i dont realy understand what this means. ive copied the scenery cfg file and renamed it as a new file but still doesnt work.

ive re read instructions and it says about sceneries being installed on other drives other than myy c drive but im almost sure theyy arnt as i only have c drive.

ive also read on the forum about a small program called FSCFSXCFG.EXE that fixes this issue but cant find it anywhere.

can anybody help me as this seems to be a common problam

many thanks

Hi ???,

can anybody help me as this seems to be a common problam

Where did you read that this is a common problem?

Have you read this document? http://forum.simflight.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=98768

Did you follow the recommendations described and executed the installation as an administrator?

Do you also read the manual, Chapter 2 Database Manager, paragraph Updating airports for FS X in a network ?

i dont realy understand what this means. ive copied the scenery cfg file and renamed it as a new file but still doesnt work.

Do you also have read the section about the Scenery Library Network Tool?

We call this program FSCFSXCFG.EXE. This tool you can find in the main folder of the FlightSim Commander.

If your problems still exist, do not hesitate to ask further questions.

Volker
