PAPI LIGHTS MISSING??

Recommended Posts

Dear Forum

Since installing My Traffic X Professional 5.4 c, I have noticed that on some airports there are only 2 PAPI lights instead of 4.

Can you advise how to restore back to seeing 4 PAPI lights please?

Is there a bug? Not seen or spotted anything on this forum regarding this subject.

Thanks for your help

Kind Regards

Mike

Goto FSX Root Folder\MyTraffic\Scenery within this folder there are thousands of files with the name BR2.ICAO.bgl where ICAO is the code of the airport in question i.e. Manchester EGCC looks like BR2.EGCC.bgl. Simply delete or move this file to another folder that is not active in FSX and that will disable the file. Perhaps create a folder called disabled inside the folder above and move the files there, this will make those airports return to default. Bare in mind that the default airports are likely not as up to date, nor will they have enough parking in many cases either, so landing aircraft will have a higher likelihood of disappearing as they finish there landing rollout, this happens because there is nowhere for that scheduled plane to park.

Another alternative would be for you to use an airport scenery design tool (google Airport Design Editor (ADE)) and with a few clicks you can make the change yourself.  If it's one or two airports post them here and maybe someone can make the change for you.
