Patches and BR2 files

Recommended Posts

I neutralize a lot of BR2... files.

Is it possible to have patches which don't modify the current BR2... files, only schedules, new airports and aircraft paints.

They're replacement airfield faclities (AFD) files, adding parking spaces to airfields and airports that otherwise don't have them or don't have ones appropriate to the traffic that the location recieves.

You can delete all the BR2_xxx.bgl files if you want - but you cannot expect AI traffic to work properly without them. As example the stock FSX version of Frankurt EDDF has 1 heavy gate only - so can only display one airliner bigger than a 757/A300. The sum of 747s,767s,777s,787,A330,A340,A380 that you should see there is bigger than one.

Most of the BR2_files just have additional parkings, and parkings changed for the aircraft types that fly into them. Some are more extended, like EDDF showing the new runway, and quite some are all new airport that are missing in FSX/P3D completely, some because they were built after 2006.
