P3Dv3 & NETWORKED FSC9.6 rev2 Issue (solved)

Recommended Posts

I can't get a networked PC to locate the scenery.cfg in P3Dv3. Anyone else got this sorted, or is not working yet?  Chances are, I'm just doing something wrong;-)

Works perfectly for FSX across the network, but all options for locating C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 are 'greyed out.

Hi Dougal,

to copy the file to the correct folder exists so far no tool for working in a network.

Try the following workaround.
Search the file scenery.cfg in C:\Program Data\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ or similar.

Copy this file to the folder where Prepar3D v3 was installed.
Run the Database Manager.

Looks like this worked Volker, accept I renamed it to scenerycfg.fsc

Just running the DBM now, which i never managed before. Will report back.

I love this program!  Had it many years. Over those years, I've spent a bl00dy fortune trying out other/newer flight planners etc.

To date, they have ALL been uninstalled, and I return to FSC every time;-)

This also worked for me.   Copy the scenery.cfg file to my desktop.   Rename it scenerycfg.fsc.   Copy back to the P3D main folder.   Then I can compile from the client.

Thanks!

John
