PFCHID.dll not working with FSX:SE and 3rd party aircraft

Recommended Posts

Hi Pete,

I have moved from FSX boxed to Steam version (new Win 7 installation)  and noticed, that there are issues with 3rd party aircraft like A2A Cherokee or Cessna 172 when I am using the PFC Cirrus with the PFCHID.dll interface.

Radios are not working, no Gyro suction, aircraft does not move in the ground etc. Seems there is an interference with SimConnect.

I am using FSUIPC version 4.948 and PFCHID version 1.32 from your website. After reverting back to the older PFCHID version provided by PFC on CD-ROM, functionality is somewhat better - only the radios are not working.

When I delete the dll file, everything works fine with the A2A aircrafts, but then of course the Cirrus II console is not working.

Any idea to solve this?

Thanks a lot,

Thomas

There's absolutely no difference between FSX boxed and FSX-SE in anything to do with PFCHID or FSUIPC in those areas.

Sounds like the add-on aircraft are the problem. PFCHid only has controls for default aircraft in any case. If add-on aircraft do their own thing you'd need to program their controls yourself using the macro facilities in PFCHid.

Seems there is an interference with SimConnect.

Sorry, what is this intended to mean?

The current PFCHid here in the Download Links subforum is 1.41 dated June 20014, and this is my only "website"! 1.32 must be from about 2012 I reckon? I have no trace of it here. What version does PFC supply?

By all means stick to an older version if you wish.  My PFC stuff is no longer developed in any case. But I can't help with old versions I'm afraid.

Pete
