Targetpractice2
HI all, its a daft question I know but I'm a bit stumped. I have registered version of FSUIPC and connecting AirbusX to my Saitek rudder/throttle/yoke.. but the control surfaces i.e axis (rudder/elevator/ailerons) don't work.. I can set them and calibrate them but they do not move in the plane itself. I have tried both sending to FSX and calibration through FSUIPC. Buttons work fine and I can set flaps/speed brake/trim etc. I do read that there is specifics on the throttle so not concerned about that ..that's for another day to attempt to set! My first profile is working fine (Carenado Cessna 152) .. Aerosoft forum states that it needs settings in FSX itself or FSUIPC can be used again tried their suggestions but still no movement.. I got small movement in the plane when switching aircraft from the Cessna to the Jet but then it just stopped. If I set directly in FSX I have no problems at all .. So just making sure that it is indeed compatible.. If that is the case then I will delete all my profiles and create generic settings for rudder/elevator etc .. can I actually set the control surfaces up in FSX but create a profile for buttons in FSUIPC .. so all my aircraft use FSX for elevator/ailerons ? thanks in advance for any pointers. It may be doing a similar thing to PMDG's throttles and taking the controls at a higher level than FSUIPC can feed through calibrated values Try not actually calibrating in FSUIPC, just assigning (press "Reset" on the calibration entries). Alternatively, or as well, ensure you assign to the "axis ..." controls, NOT the plain "aileron_set" and "elevator_set" controls. That, plus no calibration makes FSUIPC assignment identical in every way to assigning in FS execpt you have the Profile facilities too.
