First, I'm wondering how difficult (if possible at all) it is to create new sectors. I've been using the old-school Tracon (Wesson Intl) pretty much since it came out, and have even modded a few sectors for it. I'd love something a bit more up-to-date, but definitely want a Philly and Washington Tracon. Second, how customizable are shortcuts? I'm not really much for using speech. Old Tracon/Rapcon had a pretty common-sense shortcut structure, if quite limited. All the major instructions were available from the keypad, and it was possible to stack instructions.
