Tower 3d Pro - Congratulations!

Dear Vic & Team,

Congratulations on an outstanding piece of work. I am a "veteran" of BAO Tower (remember that? so much potential but not quite there) and Tower 2011. I have only in the last few weeks entered the Tower 3d pro world via steam. Oh my goodness what a step up! Sure there are a few little niggles here and there but over all an addictive and enjoyable experience. One thought though as it would have been good to have the type of errors made in the summary; somewhere along the line I lost some 7,000 points (rest assured no virtual lives were lost however, just operational errors I expect).

BAO Tower was a classic, wasn't it?  I actually made an addon airport for that back in the day: KPHX - just never got to do the tower view.  Spent many hours at KDCA with it's quirky behaviors (certain aircraft ALWAYS requested, "On the go request right turn out of traffic" - think it was anything departing runway 15).  It WAS in a class by itself .. and now I think we'd all agree that Tower!3D Pro has captured that position.  Of course it's got it's quirks too but still can't say enough good things about it.

Mine, too, and that's why I think a T3DP for DCA would be great. Area-wise it was small enough to allow minimal scrolling but large enough to be challenging when you used the crossing runways. And with today's schedules, it could really give you a workout. SAN is a little funky, what with its displaced threshold and other issues. DCA would be a winner, hands-down and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

hartleecub .. crossing runways are part of what makes KBOS a fun challenge too.  (cough cough - cheap plug for KBOS  :p )  Not only that but, the "joy" of Cape Air being vectored into your perfect plan for arrivals!  It's fine when they're coming in on 4R/22L .. you just sidestep them to 4L/22R but when you're dealing with say, 9/27, that's another story.  C402 coming in just above seagull speed with a big DC10 bearing down makes for an interesting time!  Tower!2011 was fun bringing them down on 22R as well because, now that you have the runways sorted and lateral separation is no longer an issue, now you have the added joy of getting that little twin prop to the gate!  Landing on 22R, the C402 would taxi off at N1!  So if you've got the famous lineup for 22L all down N, that bird isn't going anywhere for a while and when it does, you're holding up EVERYONE on A and B at N!  Emotionally, I came to fear Cape Air calling the tower.  Lol
