Franky1958
Hi Pete, I have just built a new Jetmax 737 and I'm new to all of this so am having a fair amount of trouble setting up the software so apologies in advance if my questions are basic... (also becoming very frustrated) I have tried to set up my rudder and throttle in the latest version of FSUIPC5, and I'm running P3d v4 with Windows 10. When I assign the Axis for the rudder and go to fly the aircraft the front nose wheel is either set initially too far right or too far left. I managed to get it completely straight yesterday but when I restarted P3d it was all out of line again and I can't seem to get it back straight again. The other problem I am having is with the Throttle, the highest values that I get in when I set it up are -7500 and 7500 and it doesn't seem that the throttle is working at full power. I have a Flight Deck Solutions Throttle. I'm also using Sim A for the avionic and was unable to set up the throttle through their install process so had to do it manually. I have looked over the manual and can't find anything that refers to this type of issue. Thanks in advance for your help. Frank

That's a typical poor calibration. Please folow the numbered steps in the Calibration section of the User Guide. Make sure your Rudder Trim is set correctly too, in P3D. 2 hours ago, Franky1958 said: The other problem I am having is with the Throttle, the highest values that I get in when I set it up are -7500 and 7500 They'll just be the input values. You need to calibrate. Once calibrated it will opeate correctly. 2 hours ago, Franky1958 said: I'm also using Sim A for the avionic and was unable to set up the throttle through their install process so had to do it manually. Sorry, I don't even know what Sim A is! 2 hours ago, Franky1958 said: I have looked over the manual and can't find anything that refers to this type of issue. Didn't you get as far as the Chapter on Calibration? It sounds like you only looked at assigning, nothing else. Pete
