STB V4 for Prepar3D V4 Update

Recommended Posts

I've just published the first update for STB V4 for Prepar3D V4.  Please see the forum post pinned to the top for details:

http://forum.simflight.com/topic/84898-supertrafficboard-v40201803100-update-for-prepar3d-v4/

Initially the release is just via the forum here, in time it will also be on the website and available through the inbuilt product updater.  If you decide to download and install it now I'd be glad to hear of any experiences, even if it's just "I installed it and STB is still working".

Thanks

Simon

Updated client and server. All appears to work. Great to have the option again not to keep changing the camera when switching AI being shadowed.

Installing the dataserver did reset the port to another number so it would not connect. Had to manually match it back to the client. Simple enough but may confuse some users.

It's a good point.  This happens because the stbdataserver.exe.config is deployed from the installer no matter what, and it will overwrite anything already there effectively deleting some elements of the configuration.  I need to change the installer so it ignores the file if it already exists.  Shouldn't be a problem because I don't think anything has changed in this file since day 1.

Thanks for reporting the problem.
