ILS Feathers (answered & soved by user)

Recommended Posts

Since updating to version 10 I'm no longer getting the ILS feathers showing on my map display. I have ILS switched on in the display options but they're not showing.

Anyone have a similar issue and/or a solution?

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob,

I can not verify your problem.
(Watch the screenshot)
You may have selected the same color for ILS and Map.

Regards,

Volker

Thanks Volker,

I have tried several different colours but it makes no difference. Belolw is my version of your screenshot.

Hi Volker,

Please see the screenshot below. The Database Manager does not appera to be picking up the data for the ILS runways although I have selected the correct path for my scenery.cfg file.

Hi Bob,

Since the ILS'es are part of the airport data, no one can stop the DBManager from reading the ILS'es.
The DBManager is not that smart.
I am sure that after more than 20 years the computer presents a surprising solution.

Anyway ...
Restart the DBManager.
Then please send the complete folder /SUPPORT to my e-mail address.
You can find the address here: www.fscommander.com

Volker

btw. I'm leaving the office now.

Thanks Volker.

I've just sent the files in an e-mail to you.

I think I might try a fresh install as I have had issues with extracting files for REX's Sky Force and I used the same program for FSC10.

If that makes any difference I'll let you know.

Bob

Hi Volker,

All is well!!!

I useda different program to extract the zip file and the new installation is fine as you will see below.

Thanks for your help with this but the problem was with my computer.
