Tower 3D Pro - What dictates the Airlines.txt files ?

Am I correct in assuming the airlines.txt file in all the airports is driven from the Real Traffic programme downloaded?.

I have noticed that since updating the RT file today following the KSFO release yesterday that on all the airline files in the airports I own that Virgin America as defaulted back to REDWOOOD after changing them all to ALASKA following the merger earlier this year. If so I would have thought that the developers would amend this before the release as it's a pain in the wotsit the change them every time the RT is updated :-)

Yes, that file is part of RT. If you are modifying that file then you need to make sure and keep a backup copy as it (and all the other RT text files) will get overwritten any time you install an update to RT.

Wouldn't it be better if Nyerges updated their RT airlines files? Now there's a radical idea :)

Thought as much. Yes, always keep a backup files as per suggestions from Forum members.
