Hi Steve

Thanks for the report - we need to get a better understanding of how the situation occurred.  It's a tough one if it takes 60 minutes to show up, but we'll need a trace set up as per appendix C of the user guide.  The trace file may be very big given the time, but they usually zip down very well.  So just set the trace up, wait for the error to show up again then send me the trace file.

Thanks

Simon

Thanks - I'm trying to reproduce the problem but no luck so far.  Which airport was your user aircraft at, and which AI traffic package do you use?

Sorry guys, I can't reproduce either of these at the present time so I've no idea why it's happening.

Mr_LoL: Your problem is different as the stack trace is different.  From the code, it looks like it's something to do with the STB Observer when used in flyby mode, is that at factor here?

The trace, as requested earlier, will help with both problems.

Thanks

Simon

Sorry - that's just a warning level trace which does not have any new information.  I need a "verbose" level trace please.

Mr_LOL: Thank you for the trace file.  It looks like the exception is occurring because the STB hot key that requests the STB P3D Observer to switch sides was pressed without an observer ever being activated.  This hotkey is defaulted to "F12".  Is it possible F12 was pressed on STB, possibly by accident when reaching for another key on the keyboard?  Either way it's a loophole in my code that I need to fix

Hi

Ctrl + F12 are the keys  to activate GSX.

Thanks

It's a battle I can't win.  If you want Ctrl+F12 to go to GSX and not to STB that's fine, please configure another mapping for the "Toggle Observer Location Key" in STB Settings Notebook:

Ctrl+F12 has been used by GSX  ever since it came out.
