NMaggio
Here is another anomaly. The D3dll violation is apparently not restricted to Tower3D Pro. Many games get this error. Most of the suggestions made as to preventing this problem through Properties check boxes have been tried with no success. The violations seem to be getting more frequent and earlier in game play. Attached are the latest files associated with this difficulty. Any help would be greatly appreciated. pete_agreatguy
I would certainly recommend a fresh windows install as discussed on your other thread 🙂
FeelThere Ariel
Are you running the program in Admin mode?

NMaggio
It looks as though a fresh install might be necessary. Thanks, Nick
EliGrim
First, I would check for Windows updates several times (only this time) and then uninstall and reinstall the graphics card driver. Since Microsoft started to misuse the users as testers, I meanwhile don't generally recommend checking for Windows updates manually anymore.
NMaggio
I'll give it a try - thanks
NMaggio
I might have found a workaround to my difficulties with resets and access violations. Using a program called MultiCore Next, I configured Tower3D Pro to use "Core 3", Below normal Selection of Priority and "No" to Selection of Boost. These settings would make sense if you have the program. So far, so good. I will keep ringing it out to see if Tower3D Pro fails anymore. Thanks to everyone for your input. NMaggio
The use of MultiCore Next ( see previous post) seems to be solving my problems. Thanks, Nick
