VAS Monitoring

Recommended Posts

I have a question about monitoring VAS while in FSX:SE.  I noticed that there are 2 ways to display VAS.  1 - FS Window and 2 - Title Bar.  I want to monitor VAS using the Title Bar, however, when I do I have a program called Voice Attack that I use for doing tasks in the cockpit, and that program will not respond to my commands.  However, if I use the FS Window with the green bar across the screen Voice attack works fine.  I would prefer to use the title bar and was wondering if there might be a workaround for this problem or is it just something I will have to live with.  Thanks for the help

Hi,

there is a third option by using the Lua plugin VAS_Monitor, that comes with the Example LUA plugins.zip, that opens a un-dockable window in FS you can place to your needs.

Just place the Lua file in Modules folder and add the file to [Auto]. Check as well the Manual for use and start of Lua files.
