707FAN
Here is 2 airlines.txt call sign changes that makes the pronunciation better 1 QANTAS- pronounced CANTAS in tower, add a U to the call sign i.e QUANTAS. It then pronounces it correctly 2 TIGGOZ (YMML) - pronounced T I G G (each letter spelled out) OZ in tower, Change to TIGOZ. It calls it TIG (as in tiger) OZ but it is better than the original way. Try it. Kev M
Fordy
Thank you very much. I am a kiwi and was getting tired of Kansas instead of Qantas :)
MJKERR
I changed my QANTAS is KWANTAS Also changed AIRMAURITIUS to Air MOURITEEOOS It does mean it prints out like that in the history, and looks odd, but I know what it is! Another is AIR INDIA, and changed that to AIR INDEA
Aussie1234
THANKS for the suggestions! I'll go try them all. I didn't know about the text file but listening for months of 'cantas' has been very annoying. Aussie
hexzed
It also depends on whether you have Windows 10 or not. I have found Windows 10 is very good at pronunciation, even saying Qatar correctly!
