I have been having some technical difficulties with FSUIPC, considering the fact that I am typing this. The FSUIPC file has been been a problem for longer haul flights. I use FSUIPC 4 for FSX: SE and the that I have been having being FSUIPC wanting to crash after a certain period of time. For example, I was flying from Memphis to Mexico City in FSX, and then as I was about to cross the USA border into Mexico. The whole FSUIPC crashed causing this error message in my VA's acars. If you scroll to the bottom, you got an error stating that the ACARS at 1619Z wanting to connect to FSUIPC then reconnects, and has an unnatural movement message a second later. Now, this is normal since acars was disconnected for about 5 seconds. Then about another hour later, FSUIPC completely shuts down and crashed. This causes my sim to freeze and causes acars to make the same error message at 1619Z. I am also going to give you a file for the files that I was using to see if something was wrong for the file and hopefully you will have a solution. Thanks! The SimConnect interface necessary for FSUIPC has grunched slowly to a complete stop. This actually starts early on: 1475984 **** No SimConnect events or states being received! Re-connecting now ... **** That's a sure sign something is wrong in the system. Maybe it is just that too much load is being placed on the SimConnect nterface. You can try increasing the timeout (NormalStallTime in the FSUIPC4.INI file -- it defaults to 1 (= 1 second). That will make the timeouts less likely to do suchdamage, though if it's progressively worse, as it looks, that probably only delays the inevitable. Otherwise I suspect you have some sort of memory leak going on which is causing this -- maybe a faulty aircraft, cloud textures, or even something in the scenery. One thing you could try, to see if it helps, is adding NoWeatherAtAll=Yes to the [General] section of the INI. That will stop FSUIPC asking for weather data al the time. All files related to FSUIPC are always in the Modules folder, next to FSUIPC itself. For FSUIPC4 it's "FSUIPC4.INI". For FSUIPC5, it is "FSUIPC5.INI". It is only "FSUIPC.INI" for FSUIPC, FSUIPC2 and FSUIPC3. Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Thomas Richter Posted October 2, 2019 Report Share Posted October 2, 2019 Hi, in addition if you cannot locate the \Modules\ folder, just open FSUIPC panel in P3D Add-On menu and go to Logging tab.
