tak930130 0
Hi everyone. I have installed STB Data Server for my P3D v4.5 HF2 and ran the first time configuration. I get an error as attched when I try to compile the airport database. I looked up my runways.xlm file to check the airport "00AL" but it comes from the default scenery. Do you have any idea what is causing the error? Thank you in advance. Tak compile error.txt
flying-w 78
Hi Tak It seems to be something to do with the airport elevation being a decimal number rather than a whole number. Can you send me your runways.xml file please, found in your Prepar3D installation folder? Thanks Simon
tak930130 0
Hi Simon, Thanks for your reply. I have sent an e-mail to info@supertrafficboard.com as the file was too large to post here. Tak
flying-w 78
At the present time we are not compatible with MakeRwys V4.891, which is available from Pete Dowson's website. If you experience this problem, please use an older version of MakeRwys such as that supplied by STB (V4.871). Longer term, I will address this issue in an STB update. Thanks Tak for drawing my attention to this issue. Simon

Thanks, and seasons greetings to your good self as well. Do you really mean FSUIPC? That's not a requirement for STB. If you are talking makerwys, new versions will be supported in the next STB update which I'm working on now.

Sorry Simon yes that is exactly what I meant 🤗 Thanks for the update 👍
Harald 0
Hi, after updating the STB Data Server to version 4.2.2020.04000 I get an error when I try to compile the airport database and i have no idea what cause this error. Can you help me please? Best regards, Harald An exception occurred while trying to compile a new airports database. As a result of this error, the default airport database will be used. The default database does not contain flight schedules, airport data (runways and parking) or airport names you may have customized. This may result in incorrect flight numbers being displayed, incorrect departures schedules for aircraft moved to the stand by approach control, and flight distance data will be more limited. Harald 0
i found out the cause, it was a faulty Airport. Best regards, Harald
flying-w 78
Yes that's correct, and something I've seen before: Whenever I do, I try to improve the messages that STB puts out to explain the situation. In your case, it said: "FLW.STB.Utilities.StbDisconnectException: Invalid XML detected for airport SWTQ(Termas Pousada Do Rio Quente). Please check the runways.xml file found in the Prepar3D V4 installation folder at line 1718799 position 12, and the AFD/AFCAD file that implements the airport." Hopefully that helped you understand the problem. Thanks Simon"
