FSUIPC 5 isn't loading in P3D 4.5

By reading Pete's directions I'm guessing FSUIPC 5 isn't loading in P3D 4.5. Everything worked fine until a few days ago. I have created a lot of mouse macros for PMDGs 777, 747 and the new 737 which are still in the Module section but when I start the sim they won't show on the drop down window under Button&Switches. I only see the last few I made for the 737. I tried to create a few new ones but it won't let me. Again they are created in the Module section but won't come up when I assign a switch. I don't see any log being created in the Module section either. I upgraded to 5.153 version ( registered) to see if it's going to make any difference. I'll attach the required files to see if anybody can help me out with this issue.

Hi,

if FSUIPC5 isn't loading you wouldn't be able to open it in FS but as you say you can.

In that case the installer log doesn't help. You have to attach or copy and paste the full and NOT modified content of the FSUIPC5.log and FSUIPC5.ini file of a short run and fully closed session.

For that go to Logging tab and mark Button and key operations, operate then of course some buttons related to what doesn't work.

Hi,

they are but you might have ticked the box in explorer settings to don't show extensions of known file types. Then files don't show there extension like .log / .ini and might be displayed as text files.

Also if the folder location is not clear you can use the button on FSUIPC Logging tab to open the correct location within explorer.

Thanks for the tip Thomas. I just did a short flight form LFPG to EHAM and here's the log. The only thing that stands out is the error on line 172 saying too many Macro Files (127 Max).

I don't think I have that many, I counted like 78, but that might be the reason not to let me create any new ones and only a few pop up on the drop down window in FSUIPC?

I didn't paste the whole log because is too long. And the ini file below the log.

This is due to the fact that you have exceeded the 127 macro file limit. As Thomas says, try reducing the number of macro files - there is really no need to have so many. You can try try combining them - you will of course have to re-assign afterwards.
