there is one question though that I have about these retro airlines and livery when we make a schedule with them how do put the airline at the terminal that they would have originally been at the airport

Assuming their original terminal still exists, you'd add them to the terminal file like you would any other airline.

Here ya go. Three minutes of duckduckgo (it would have been less than one minute but I had to let the dog out)

The entire thread is quite interesting. but for those that suffer from TL;DR, I believe the original Terminal 1 is the terminal you're looking for.

@ATC AlaskaGuy & others, have a look ath these sites

Note that    http://timetableimages.com/ttimages/complete/complete.htm site. has a link to http://www.departedflights.com/

I am thinking about making a schedule around late 70's early 80's that can use most of the retro liveries although some poetic license will be required, depanding on the airport selected,

e.g. Ansett 744's in SFO, LAX. in 1980

Great selection of aircraft and airlines. The late 70's to early 80's is a perfect time for your aircraft. Will this be using existing airports? I'm really looking forward to seeing this new retro package. Thanks to all that made it happen!
