Vincent FR
Hi, thanks for your quick feedback. Windows language is still in English United States, the speech language is also set to english United States. The Country or region is set to France as I am living there, and the regional format is set to English United States. I've found out the following: when going to " Control Panel\Ease of Access\Speech Recognition " and clicking on " Start Speech Recognition ", I get an error message. I'll check that on my side and let you know. Thanks Vincent
FeelThere_Vic
Hi Vincent, Please get back to us about it. Please make sure to check all the language packs if they are installed correctly and possibly try to re-install them. Thank you Vic

EliGrim
Microsoft changes a lot with the 2004 update. Cortana becomes a standalone app in the store and disappears from the system settings, settings for sounds and speech recognition are changed, etc. Thank you very much for sharing your experiences here. Now I won't forget to make a backup before I install the update.
