drave
Hello I've set up a logitech throttle quadrant for the TBM930 following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LkM734cx2Y&t=618s The X lever is attached to "Axis Throttle 1 set" and the Y lever to "Axis Propeller 1 set" This works fine if I start cold and dark, or with engine running on the runway BUT if I fancy practicing some landings and start the session on approach then the throttle lever has no effect ?? I don't know if this is a bug, a feature or expected behaviour or .... Any ideas ?? thanks

Could you activate logging of Axes Controls, start a session that shows your issue, then post again attaching your FSUIPC7.log and .ini files. Also check that you don't have the co-pilot handover activated when this occurs (or autothrottle if the TBM 930 has one). Does this only occur when starting a session on approach? What happens if you start on the runway ready for take-off?
drave
Attached the bad log is from session started on approach, good log is session started on the runway Ive had to cut out some of the middle section on both to get within the 20k limit regards FSUIPC7.ini axis_bad2.log axis_good2.log
Thomas Richter
Hi, did you try a re-start of FSUIPC when the THR doesn't work anymore? Thomas
John Dowson
It looks like this is due to an expected event (position changed) not being received in this start-up situation, due to a change I implemented a few weeks ago in an attempt to clear the in-dialog flag at the last possible minute. However, as it seems I can't rely on this event in all situations, I will revert to the previous behavior. Please try the attached version: FSUIPC7.exe
drave
That was the problem, throttle appears to work perfectly now regards
