Diverted planes

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

I would like to ask you if there is a way to avoid that some planes are diverted in busy airports.

It is something I do not like but I do not really know if STB controls this issue or if it is a matter of P3D.

Any help is welcome.

Thank you in advance.

STB does not divert planes, it's reacting to what the simulator is doing and trying to make the experience a little more interesting.  When a plane is divered, it means STB has seen the plane approaching but for some reason (known only to the simulator) it been deleted.  Typical examples can be insufficient parking at the arrival airport, or the plane moving out of the "reality bubble" and being too far away from the user aircraft (either through it's own movement or that of the user).

Nothing I can do to stop it I'm afraid, just try to make it look reasonable on STB.

Simon

Ok Simon.

Thanks a lot for your explanation. I hope one day P3D can solve this issue.

Can we say that it happens the same thing when an approaching plane or a delayed plane is deleted out of the blue?
