Can't install update V3.6

Recommended Posts

Hi Simon, I have been using STB V3.2 for a long while without issue, but just lately it has stopped following the AI full journey, it boots me back after a short while, tried other aircraft/airfields etc same thing.
I tried to install the update V3.6 but it is asking for Visual C++Redistributable, it won't connect to download it so I got it from MS and installed it, but still the update is asking for this file.

I get this error when trying to install. (attached)

What does "full journey" mean?  And "booted back to base"?  Did you complete the installation, then got a new error above?  Please list out all the steps you've performed and their outcomes in detail please?  This new error is saying there's a problem with your dll.xml.

Full journey means I tried to follow the AI the whole journey from takeoff to landing but before it got the the destination I got disconnected from it and ended up back at the the departing airport.

I re-installed V3.2 after uninstalling it because of the following problem, then re-installed it again, did the collect runways/airports etc then went to install the version 3.6 which made runways and airports again, once it was complete I tried it out, it seemed to be working Ok as it followed the AI aircraft to almost the destination then it disconnected from it and I ended up back at the departure airport again.

Edited: I should have said I uninstalled V3.2 then re-installed it again.

Added the xml if that helps.data.jpg.3ed08e21f8dfe57923d4dc2da14e0858.jpg
