sreehari
Hello team I am using MSFS purchased from Microsoft store. I fly for a virtual alliance. When i open client for FSAUIPC7 it opens steam and later it disappears and smartcars says please install FSUIPC / simconnect error. Is it beacuse im using msfs not from steam. Do you mean that when you start FSUIPC7, it opens the steam app? Or when you open an FSUIPC client (which client?) it opens the steam app? 1 hour ago, sreehari said: Is it beacuse im using msfs not from steam. FSUIPC7 works both with MS Store and Steam MSFS installations. Did you actually install FSUIPC7? Have you tried running it (by double-clicking the FSUIPC7.exe)? If you are having problems installing FSUIPC7, please show me your InstallFSUIPC7.log file. If you are having problems running FSUIPC7, please show me your FSIOPC7.log file. Otherwise, please try and explain your problem a bit clearer... John
John Dowson
Also, please make sure that you are using the latest version of FSUIPC, v7.2.14 (v7.2.15 will be released tomorrow). If not, please download and re-install. Only the latest version of FSUIPC is supported. John
JonSollender
I have had MSFS since 2020 release. I have been using smartCARS for a month, and just 2 days ago got the Simulator Connection Error. I downloaded latest version after this (7.3.11) which required uninstall of 7.3.03, and loaded fine. Also now registered the program. I still have connection error. Any assistance? Within the opened smartCARS for Walker Air Transport, I am connected to the world as it does see a pre-bid flight details, and I can chat with others on the network, so what is missing? John Dowson
I do not support smartCARS, only FSUIPC. Is FSUIPC running (do you see the FSUIPC7 splash screen when starting MsFS?)? Are you starting FSUIPC7 manually or using auto-start?
JonSollender
I have FSUIPC7 running as the batch file to auto start MSFS. I used all default settings for FSUIPC when I downloaded it. Prior to the upgrade to new version this am I had similar problems of non-connection. This was both pre- and post MSFS World Update to Canada. I have successfully completed 7 + flights using FSUIPC7 and Walker Air Smartcars app and then it stopped working within last few days. No pc changes that I know of. Ayuda-me for favor señor Espana! John Dowson
If FSUIPC7 is running and smartCARS isn't connecting, then the issue is with smartCARS, not FSUIPC7. You can attach your FSUIPC7.log file and I will take a look to see if I can see anything, but you probably need support from the smartCARS developer/provider. JonSollender
Thanks John. Several updates to windows os and updated AICARS through Navigraph, and other misc updates and it seemed to work as advertised this am, so potentially associated with required updates/upgrades. Thanks for offering to assist. Will keep you in mind for future need. Mochas Gracias Amigo!
