FSUIPC not creating his folder on the Community Folder

Hello  I'm having a problem with the FSUIPC regarding the creation of the fuipc folder on the community folder in the sim. After I'm done with the fsuipc installation there is no folder to modify the fsuipc and proceed with the normal process.

I ran it as Administrator and didn't work, also I don't have an antivirus installed.

You do not need to run as Administrator - the installer will request admin privileges when required.

For any installation issues, you must show me/attach your InstallFSUIPC7.log file.

John

I just reinstalled and didn't work. I just upload the Install.log.

Hope that we can find a solution.

Where is your Community folder? The installer thinks that it is here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Flight Simulator\HLM_Packages"\Community\
which is a very strange path...especially that strange double-quote...

Do you have a steam install or an MS store install? If the former, please show me this file:
    C:\Users\josem\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt
If you have an MS Store installation, remove/delete that file and re-install.

Hello I just attached my User.cfg and this is my actual community path:

C:\Users\josem\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

UserCfg.opt

C:\Users\josem\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

Then the location in your UserCfg.opt file is incorrect:

Quote

InstalledPackagesPath "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Flight Simulator\HLM_Packages"

I do not know why this is incorrect...very strange...

Do you have a Steam or MS store installation? If using Steam (which the installer detects due to the presence of the UserCfg.opt file under $APPDATA$\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator), you could try correcting this by changing the InstalledPackagesPath location  (it is at the end of the file) to the correct one, and then re-install FSUIPC7. If you are using an MS Store installation, you need to uninstall FSUIPC7, delete or rename the file
     C:\Users\josem\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt
and then install FSUIPC7 again.

Please help me with the correct step by step. I'm kinda lost.

For the third time, you need to delete (or rename) the file
    C:\Users\josem\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt
and then install FSUIPC7 again.

As that file exists, the installer thinks you have a Steam installation, when you in fact are using an MS Store installation.
I presume that at some stage you installed via steam, and that file is a remnant of that installation and needs to be removed.
