  1. No rwy, taxi way and ID markings (answered)

Ah, ok ... unfortunately it's hard for us end users to know what was used by the scenery developer ... making it close to impossible to determine it it's just a FSC limitation due to how the scenery/airport was created. Appreciate the response. Cheers, Rob.
  2. No rwy, taxi way and ID markings (answered)

Hi Volker, I have the exact same problem with taxi2Gate's EDDM which is not Add-on xml based - uses the old method. Gate/Parking spots are present but no runway/taxiway? Here is my support folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw0Q-fAfEZwyUXBWRExzclF0cnc/view?usp=sharing Here is a video showing the issue: Cheers, Rob
  3. Thanks Volker, didn't find that nuget of info in my search here, thank you! Cheers, Rob.
  4. I recently installed several LLH creations airports - specifically LFLJ Courchevel ... no runway/taxi showed up in FSC9.7 after running the FSCP3D_V4 .exe and DBManager. I have the latest HF for 9.7. I manually checked the scenery.cfg.fsc_v4 file and all the correct library entries where there including he Add-on entries. Is this because LFLJ uses sloped runways so they aren't being registered as normal runways and hence not picked up by DBManager? Cheers, Rob.
  5. FSC 9.6 rev 7 Main window issues (answered)

Hi Volker, This focus issue is clearly causing a lot of customers problems, myself included. Applications do NOT need to have focus in order to update, could you please provide a user selectable option to disable/enable this focus processing? I know I've asked this before, but I thought I'd ask it again since it's something many other users would like to have as an option. Cheers, Rob.
  6. v9.6 rev 9 full installer? (answered)

Excellent! Thanks you Sir. Cheers, Rob.
  7. Does the full installer v9.6 rev 9 work with my serial info I received from SimMarket? The FSCommander web site here: http://www.fscommander.com/download.htm indicates the Full version but suggests it's "Trial Version" ... will my SimMarket serial/key info unlock the "Trial" version to a full operating version? I'm doing a fresh install on a new PC, so I'm starting from scratch and would prefer to use the full installer rather than doing the upgrade process. Thanks again for the V4 support. Cheers, Rob.
  8. I'm patient, plenty to do and the basic features of FSCommander are working with V4. But with that said, looking forward to an update. I do have one tiny request I'd like to squeeze in since you might be getting into the code: 1. Remove the warning message about minimizing the main FSCommander window, it doesn't really serve any purpose. 2. Ability to turn OFF auto centering to Aircraft during flight when connected to sim ... perhaps use something similar to HiFi's "Lock to Aircraft" toggle state/button that we can turn On/Off during a session. Just about every time I'm doing a flight I want to move around the map to see information on my destination airport or alternate, get ILS frequency, runway length, etc. As it stands, I can't do that without being re-center back onto my aircraft, the only way around this problem is to disconnect from the sim, move around the map and get airport info, then reconnect to the sim. A "lock to aircraft" toggle button or checkbox would solve this issue. Cheers, Rob.
  9. Thanks for the continue support Volker, as others have suggested I'd be more than happy to pay for an update as I know there are significant changes in P3D V4 that require some work your end to make FSC work with P3D V4. Cheers, Rob.
  10. Request for descent calculator (answered)

Hi Volker, Thanks for the response. I understand the planning aspect and that information is available for "planned" flight so I can do manual calculations and/or use GTN750. I thought perhaps my suggestion would be a good fit for FSCommander rather than purchasing another product. FSCommander has all the information it would need to support my request relatively easily and given FSCommander already provides a "Distance measure" tool, I would suggest just an extension of that exiting tool with perhaps some added output in the GPS window all within FSCommander. I use FSCommander for VFR frequently as it's one of the few tools that is "open" in regards to flight ... my request isn't related to flight management systems (many of the aircraft I fly don't have FMC/FMS). For example, if I'm flying VFR and decide that I'm not going to make it to my planned destination (weather, fuel, etc.) with an alternate this is good either, or have simulated emergency/problem, or just want to land at a different airport ... descent calculator would come in handy from within FCCommander environment. Cheers, Rob.
  11. Many thanks for all the hard work you've put into FS Commander over the years and keeping it updated and specifically working well with P3D. This is a feature request to add a descent calculator...something that could: 1. Select a point on the map for descent end point 2. Enter a desired altitude at the target end point 3. In the GPS track window, show the needed FPM in real time with an above (yellow) on track (green) or below (red), and/or alternatively show the point of descent (in flight plan) needed to reach desired location and altitude base on the select aircraft specs. Willing to pay extra for this feature. Cheers, Rob.
