when trying to update the online IVAO database in FSC 9.3, I only end up with old data from 2010. What can I do?

Hi, I found out myself what was causing the trouble. Because of REX I had changed the regional settings on my system to English (USA). After reverting back to the german regional settings, everything´s working fine again.

I have problem when downloading the weatherinformation with FSC version 8.4.1 (from Aerosoft). I´ve replaced the URL as described in the manual, but during the download it stops at 3 % and I get a white screen. I have to force FSC to close and restart it. Everything else works fine, until I try to download the weatherinformation. Am I the only one seeing this?

Hi,

I have the following problem: I clear all weather and activate wind smoothing on the wind page of the FSUIPC gui. Then a few minutes later all settings are lost. I have to reactivate wind smoothing again. I have to repeat doing this a couple of times during long haul flights.

My computer configuration: E8400, 8 gig Ram, Nvidia 9800 GTX, Vista (64-bit), FSX SP2. In addition I use ASX on a second PC via simconnect.

Something that also happens in FSX is, that the panel of the PMDG 747 won´t refresh after changing to an outside view of the aircraft. Only after speeding through the different views using the shift+A key, everything is back to normal. I´m mentioning this, because I don´t know if this problem is related to the one with the FSUIPC settings.

Does anyone know what might be interfering with FSUIPC every half an hour or so?

I forgot to mention, that I installed LFPG according the manual. The area photo of Paris is right underneath LFPG in the scenery library and MyWorld2004 is below Paris in the library.

Hi,

this thread is old, but a solution to the problem of blurred textures around Paris at night can´t be found. Can anyone from Sim-wings help me?

When FS9 tries to reload the scenery (i.e. while getting closer to LFPG), the whole area of Paris is blurred and stays that way until the sim is restarted.

I also use MyWorld2004 for Europe besides your add-on for LFPG in that area.

Someone wrote, that exchanging certain .bgl files would help, but that isn´t the case. The problem still exists.

Is there any solution to the problem, that hasn´t been posted in this forum?
