  1. Just popping in to say that I got everything I needed with the *-1 scale modifier, thanks.
  2. Yes, but - again - for some reason the plane expects the input range -16384/16384. If I exclude calibration, I can get that range, but then I can't get the axis reversal (because it's part of the calibration, not assignment). I will try with the ,*-1 scale. Yes - but then the THROTTLEn will still be range 0/16384 while the plane expects -16384/16384 In practice that means that with No Reverse Zone on, I am "idling" at 52% N1, while without, at -4096, I am "idling" at 48% N1 - both with levers in the cockpit at approx. midway or a bit less in the second case. Pressing F1 bring them to actual idle.
  3. So, apparently there's an edge case here. This plane does not have a reverse. And it apparently expects a full range of -16384/16384 for proper working. FSUIPC allows this on the common throttle axis but not on the individual axes. Now I'm in a bind, because I found that with Exclude THROTTLEn_SET I can make full use of full range of values in the plane... but my axis is reversed. And there is no Reverse button in Axis Assignments tab.
  4. Thanks, that worked like a charm. Tangentially related... is there a way for a Throttle axis to work on a scale different from 16384/-4096? Ideally I'd want to make use of the full 16384/-16384 range in this case.
  5. Hello. I am trying to limit the range that an axis will output, as opposed to matching limited input to full range output. Is this possible in the UI or do I need a lua script or some such? To explain: Under normal mapping, the spoiler axis goes from IN to LIFT SPLR. I want to map this so that the axis goes from IN to OUT and then I assign a separate button to set spoiler axis to full so I get LIFT SPLR.
  6. I've finally received my Winwing MCDU after months of waiting. So I connected it and installed the software. I am not sure it is relevant, but I presume it is, as I didn't do any other changes. Now FSUIPC is not recognizing inputs from 2/3 of my devices. I have seen some mentioned of wrong JoyIDs stuff and was able to mess around with JoyID tool to make it sort of work... but it's maybe worth a note that this kind of thing does still happen.
  7. I would prefer to send a specific value. Is that an option?
  8. Hi, if my understanding is correct, the functionality for buttons to "Select for FS Control" options "ThrottleN Set" with parameter does not work when "Direct to FSUIPC calibration" is used on an axis. I would like to use buttons to control reverse range, while keeping the axis with no reverse. Is it possible to send a value to throttle axis somehow? using Input Event or something? to enable this?
  9. Yes, I am sure. Let me reiterate the situation: I own: a set of Saitek pedals, always connected a joystick with twist axis, used to fly the Airbus and small aircraft a yoke, used to fly everything else. My goal is to maintain the separate tiller whenever the joystick is connected. However, if I start my sim with the joystick disconnected, and yoke connected, I cannot use the tiller axis and would like to retain steering by rudder pedals.
  10. Hello all, recently I've ran into a bit of an issue. Due to the way FSL Airbus is programmed, I have mapped the rotational axis on the joystick I use for it as steering tiller. On most other airplanes, I use a Saitek yoke. Previously I'd used separate profiles, but I just moved to P3D and figured there isn't really a need for that right now, as there will only be one or the other connected so there is never any interference. However, the simulator still behaved like it would with tiller active, even with the joystick disconnected. Given that joystick wasn't connected, I couldn't even delete the assignment would it be possible to make it so that if the controller with tiller axis mapping is disconnected, tiller is ignored, and rudder would be connected normally at slow speeds? Thanks
