  1. Yes, they are the engine Mixture offsets. If you've ever operated a Jet properly in any of Microsoft's flight simulators since FS4 (at least) you'd have remembered that fuel enable/idle is "Mixture Full Rich" and cut-off is "Mixture Full Lean" (usually assigned by default to Ctrl+Shift+F4 and Ctrl+Shift+F1 respectively). FS has never had any separate controls explicitly for jet start (fuel enable) levers. Please check offsets 0890 and the starter explanation in 0892. There are equivalent offsets for the other three engines. Pete Excellent! Many thanks for the information Pete and the rapid response. - SkyDriver
  2. Are there FSUIPC offset(s) for (e.g. B737) 'fuel cut off levers'? I can't see this mentioned in the list of offsets I have. I tried "Engine 1 Fuel Valve" just in case and this did not appear to do the job from what I saw. Are the 'fuel cut off levers' (on the throttle quadrant) mapped to offsets? Many thanks for any input - - SkyDriver
  3. Pete: Will investigate the registers in your docs as sugested. It would seem reasonable to say that if the engine fails within a *very* short time after touching down (say less than 1 second) - it was due to a bad landing. It's FS's way of saying "You broke it even if you didn't crash it..." Thanks for all the information! SkyDriver
  4. Peter: I wondered if it is possible to detect that a 2004 aircraft is 'broken' rather than crashed? I refer to those landings where FS has decided to break several functions of the plane - the engine, etc. but does not actually report a 'crash'. The plane is going nowhere, but there is no crash. Can this state be detected in FSUIPC? Thanks SkyDriver
