Thank you for all of the suggestions. I found the thread that you were referring to, but I don't think that it applies to me. I have the latest version of the PMDG 777 installed and quite sure of it. Also did not experience any of the invisible gear issues. I have now also tried the following: Autosave is completely disabled, both on Pro ATC/X as well as FSUIPC SimConnectStallTime is now 10 I have now found that when this happens the sim starts hanging for 10-20 seconds at a time and a restart of P3D fixes it. Just some more info on the addons that I am using: AS16 & ASCA PMDG 777 Pro ATC/X GSX Appreciate the help JJ

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your response. I do indeed use the PMDG 777, but as far as I know there has only been a single P3D V4 release of the PMDG 777. I checked the operations center and I don't see any update, so I assume that I am running the correct version. I can confirm that this issue does not happen with other default aircraft, it seems to be limited to the PMDG 777. How could I check the version of the fsuipc lib that the 777 is using? I have been doing some more research on the matter and I have turned off autosave via fsuipc, but the problem still seems to persist. I am still doing autosave via Pro-ATC/X and that will be my next thing to disable. I will report back if that has made a difference. As always, thank you for the assistance. JJ

Error: Failed on SimConnect_Open, return = 0x80004005: FSUIPC5 cannot operate! Sim: P3D V4 FSUIPC: 5.102 (Registered) OS: Windows 10 N x64 My P3D starts perfectly and everything works fine for about 2-3 hours, when FSUIPC just disappears off the Add-ons menu in P3D. I had a look in the log (see link below) and this is the error that I am seeing, I have tried reinstalling simconnect (stopped the sim, installed, restarted machine and loaded my flight), but no success. It has only started happening recently, and I have not made any changes to P3D. It also happened with the previous build of FSUIPC 5, and the upgrade has not made a difference. I also don't believe that FSUIPC is shut down completely, because I can't make changes to the log file. (Tried to truncate some data, as my file was too large to attach). I have also tested, my joystick and all buttons seem to be working just fine. The ACARS software from Royal Dutch Virtual is not receiving any updates from P3D and as mentioned above the FSUIPC item is no longer showing in the Add-ons menu in P3D FSUIPC File John Baird
