I also discovered that you can achieve the same effect after giving taxi instructions by telling the aircraft to "hold short of" the destination runway (Ex: DAL7689 is given taxi instructions to Runway 28L via F at KSFO. After the aircraft starts moving instruct it to "hold short of runway 28L". The aircraft will then automatically cross Runways 01L and 01R on it's way to runway 28L. Cool!

Hey everyone. I didn't notice a topic for the voice commands we use to control traffic. The commands are fairly extensive but I was wondering if there could be a new command that is included in taxi instructions that would authorize crossing runways. Something like "Taxi to terminal via taxiway S A1, cross runway 1R, cross runway 1L"?
