    I dont realt understsnd all you are saying. Where do I get that number you are talking about from? Premade by pmdg means pmdg controls(your advice). Okay, but where do I find these custom controls? When you are saying numbers, are you talking about (in this case) q? If you just tell me exactly what to do. Yes I read the user contributions. The reason why I called it aaaaaaaaa is because I wanted it to appear on the top when I try to assign mouse macros (I am no longer trying to do that). I think I am misunderstanding something because you are talking about stuff I have no idea what is. I don’t know if you understood, but I don’t want to make mouse macros anymore, I want to do so if I press a button on my keyboard, it happens in the sim, reason being I am going to make a home cockpit. Can you please say all of the steps you want me to do?

    i really just want to make an overhead with my keyboard and I don’t think it should be that hard. So please be a bit more detailed. I don’t

    Can you please explain what you mean by this? You said that I am NOT going to make macro assignments. How does this work and no I haven’t read the documentation, I don’t even know where it is!

    I don’t want to bother anymore but the thing is that I need this done and you seem to not tell me what to do. So please just try to explain a bit more precise and easier.

    Here is my fsuipc.ini file.

    Okay, i am going to do it and write down every little thing i do

    1. now i am in the microsoft flight simulator steam edition loading screen

    2. now i am in the sim and click free flight

    3. i press change on currenct aircraft

    4. it is loading a bit

    5. i scroll down to where it says Boeing 737-800 NGX norwegian livery

    6. i go to choose airport

    7. i type ENGM and clicks gate 14

    8. i click FLY NOW

    9. it is loading

    10. i spawn in my airplane

    11. initialising all systems

    12. i click Add-ons

    13. i click fsuipc

    14. i click key presses

    15. i click profile specific and suddenly on the top next to where it says FSUIPC options and settings it says - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAB (name of my profile specific)

    16. I go to the left column where it says program keyboard controls here 

    17. i press SET

    18. i press q

    19. i go to where it says control sent when key is pressed

    20. i scroll down and click APU OFF SWITCH

    21. then i just click confirm

    22. i click ok

    23. i spawn back in my cockpit

    24. i look up to the overhead panel 

    25. i click on the apu on switch

    26. i try pressing Q but the apu switch is not retracting

    Okay, I’m gonna save you some time on this one because I know I have been a real pain in the ĀSS and a costumer taking up all of your free time, I am really sorry about that.  But please don’t give up on me because of that. If you listen to what I am saying about telling me what information you are missing, I can provide you with that information! If this explanation is not detailed enough, you HAVE to tell me what you are missing. So if you read this and tell me what info I am missing on this explanation I will be happy to tell you. ( I wrote it further down)

    Windows 10 64 bit

    fsuipc version 4.974 I believe.

    The reason to all this is: I want to make a homecockpit (Pmdg 738ngx)I have bought the saitek switch panel and for that I need Linda to connect with fsuipc (another problem). But anyway, the reason why I want to make keys set to the fsx overhead is because I want to make an overhead panel using a keyboard irl. So it really bothers me that using Pmdg premade mouse macros doesn’t work either, I have spent so much time thinking this trough and now I only have fsuipc standing in the way, when I get that to work I will be able to make my cockpit. So here is my problems and steps:

    pmdg premade mouse macros (your advice, I DID NOT IGNORE YOUR ADVICE!)

    1. I select Pmdg 737 and load up my flight.

    2. When I am in my cockpit I click on addons on the top

    3. Then I click fsuipc and now I am in the fsuipc menu.

    4. From the fsuipc menu I click key presses, now I see the fsuipc key presses menu divided into two columns.

    5. I click profile precific.

    6. I click “set” in the left column

    7. I press the letter “q” on my keyboard

    8. I click on the bar right under, and I scroll down to where it says “apu-start” or something like that

    9. I click confirm

    10. I click okay

    11. I spawn back in my cockpit

    12. I am clicking the letter “q” 

    13. I look up to my overhead panel and I press q once more

    14. Nothing happens

    15. Why and how to fix!?

    The fact that the text is changing colour indicates two things:

    1. You are not using P3D4, and
    2. The gauge is somehow continuing to think it is being clicked

    You said this in the other post, but you didn’t give me a solution! You just said this, I know that I am not using p3d4, I am using fsxse but I can’t buy prepar3d just to make fsuipc work! Also, you told me that the gauge thinks it is being clicked, but you didn’t tell me a fix for that either. So if you just tell me what I can do to make mouse macros work, maybe I can use the premade ones. But I have still used 24 euros on this and if it then doesnt work... So please, just tell me what I can do to fix this when you get back so I don’t have to bother anymore. I understand that I may have explained thing badly, but if you can point out what information you want, then it’s easier for me to explain! I’m sorry if I am using up all your time but it’s no other alternatives.

    mouse macro problem

    I click key presses, create mouse macro, and ok. When I hover over a button or switch, in this case: taxilight, it just flashes white and red. I can click the switch but the flashing doesn’t stop. I can’t type in a name of the function or anything, I have tried every switch like I said, but it still happens. I have also tried clicking and moving my mouse away right after, but when I then click tab. Nothing happens, no switch turns on or anything. If this has something to do with the log file, I have it right now in front of me, but I am ready tomorrow to. If you can tell me what I can change in the log file to make this work, I will do that and maybe the problem gets solved. Or you can tell me what I can do if it has nothing to do with the log file. I understand that you are getting stressed out or tired, but I am to. I have just used 80 euros on something that doesn’t even work because Linda doesn’t work, and, I have used 24 euros on fsuipc and that doesn’t work either! I will try doing some research even though almost nobody posts this information. Of all the costumers you have, has nobody of those had the same problem that I have? I doubt it.

    Okay, let’s start from scratch. What I mean is this: when I am trying to assign a function to the key press (I click add-ons, fsuipc, key presses, and in the left icon. On top of the left icon I press “set”, and after pressing set I am pressing q, then, I go to the bar under the one I just typed in and I scroll down to where it says taxi light, then I click confirm, and ok. When I’m in my cockpit and press q, the taxi light switch doesn’t go on. I hope that was detailed enough. But I have used 24 euros on buying this and if one or more of the functions doesn’t work, I feel like its waste of money, so I really wonder, why can’t I create mouse macros? Why is it flashing red and white? Also, what if you just control my pc or something, it would be easier and the problem would be solved easier, or I can email you a video where you can see what I am doing and all of my problems...
