[P3Dv4 Mouse Macros... broken]

As noted above P3D had messages disabled.   With them reenabled the facility works as described.  Whether it will work with the MU-2, we'll have to wait and see.

Er, why do you think you get boxes around clickable things? The facility does nothing to the panel display. it just sits there awaiting your mouse click on such a "clickable thing."

It is working perfectly, I assure you, and as documented and illustrated.

I will try again.   Sorry about the box thing, that was earlier versions I guess.

But so far, I click on create mouse macro, then give the macro file a name, then click OK  TO get back to the sim.  When I click on something, nothing happens, and I'm expecting a disconnect window to pop up so I can name the action I just did.  

 

UPDATE:  Found the Issue.... I had disabled message display in the general options.

P3D version 4.3.29.25520, FSUIPC V5.14.

Even with default aircraft, the create mouse macro facility doesn't work as described.  I get no Simconnect window nor any boxes around clickable things in the aircraft.

I'd seen in some other posts that this may be a known issue, and apologies if that is so., but at least one recent thread seemed to indicate that it SHOULD work.
