Dear Pete,
thank you for your reply. The VASfmc project has been closed years ago, still it´s one of the only realistic Add-on FMCs.
The screen image shall show:
1. Which cockpit I use (maybe this is more visual than just naming it)
2. It shall visualize that I am using the simulator in one window while VASfmc is as stand alone on a second and FCU is activated
3. As I circled in red at least the VASfmc autopilot mirrors the set altitude to the build in autopilot in the plane, it only does not react on key presses. This is what I wanted to demonstrate with the picture. Everytime I press the "AP Altitude Increase" button, it changes on the cockpit autopilot, but is "overwritten" by the altitude, which is set in the VASfmc FCU. So I thought with the controls of FSUIPC I could align both settings...
Here is another picture of the VASfmc controls in FSUIPC.
I was just wondering why there is nothing like "FCU Altitude Inc" and "FCU Altitude Dec" or similar.
In case it was the wrong place to ask - sorry for this and just delete this post.
Kind regards

Dear all,
I own a full version of FSUIPC4 and thing this program is quite amazing.
Since I am doing experiments with combining Tom Ruth´s A340 panel with VASfmc the result is, that it works fine if I am having the FCU of VASfmc on a separate screen. Even the data (i.e. AP Altitude) is transferred to the Tom Ruth´s Autopilot in its 2D cockpit. Still I would like to change AP altitude height and manual course with buttons, which works fine for Tom´s cockpit - but VASfmc does not react on any buttons and can only be set by mouse.
I have seen that FSUIPC has VASfmc programming in its button dropdown menus - but you can set anything but height and course knobs. Any other trick I can get VASfmc being connected to buttons via FSUIPC?
Hope this question finds its correct place to be read.
Thank you all and thank you Pete for such a great program!

Dear Pete,
this is a good hint. I didn´t expect that these choices in your software were implemented by a 3rd party.
I will try to solve it this way.
Best regards, Mathias
