Hi everybody i am trying to help a friend that has bought from someone else a b737 cockpit, after some sessions we have managed to figure out the provider of the hardware (CPflight) and thanks to this we have figured out how to configure accordingly and put it to work. But the throttle quadrant is the last part that is not working, we do not know who the maker is, we know that it was connected to a computer running the rest of the hardware lets call it computer 1, meanwhile the prepar 3d v5 was running in a different computer alone, and at some point it was working fine, we dont know what caused it stop working (a change in version, a deletion of the firmware... or what) my question (did not try it yet) is: if FSUIPC 6 is installed in the prepar 3d computer (computer2) can read what is connected in computer1 (hardware)? of course we are using widefs (the rest of hardware from cpflight seems to be responding in computer 2 (P3D) if anyone comes with any other idea or suggestion is always welcome thanks

Well, the presets made the magic! I have a full gns 530 running for less than 100 bucks thanks very much... i love learning new things

hi guys so if I understood correctly i need to go under this process if i want to create y own g530...? what if i use a usb card detected by fsuipc? the dfault buttons inluded in the list are working or do i steel ned to go through this hvar process (first tim i ear about btw) apologies for my ignorance... trying to learm everyday with you people

Thomas thanks very much no need, you gave me the tip... looking into the files i found out why all W7 computers were connecting ok and w10 were not... in order to run PM in w7 and connect succesfully to fsuipc there is no need of administrator rights, while in w10 it is abosolutely necesary. i changed the exe to start always with adminsitrator rights and problem has been solved in w10 thanks a lot!!!!

Hi Everyone I am making an upgrade in my old computers running the Flight sim I have upgraded all computers to w10 (last available version running) on the one running the visuals: I have purchased and installed FSX-SE I have installed last version of FSUIPC (downloaded from Project Magenta link) and seesm to be working because is available on the FSX screen. one the ones running project magenta i am running wideclient (from widefs7) The FSX screen showns the computers connected but the PM software is not responding (like not reading the info coming from the FSX) when typing CTRL+O I see in PM FS active, but FSUIPC version says 0.0 (when using a w7 machine ver sion says 4.947) ... i think the problem lie there I have tried with some older computers still running w7 (for the project magenta thing) and they connect and work perfectly. which makes me think that is an issue with w10 but i am probably wrong.... any ideas around???, otherwise i will be forced to reinstall w7 again... thanks Enrique
