There have been a lot of posts on this subject...with the 7.3.9i release I hope most of these issues are fixed. As far as I am aware, I still need to check the following:
        - reversers in the PMDG 737
        - Steering Set and Nosewheel Steering
If I have missed anything that needs to be checked, please let me know - but AFTER you have tested with 7.3.9i please, and, as always, please specify aircraft being used and attach your FSUIPC7.ini and FSUIPC7.log files.

Thank you all for your patience with this matter,

    John

    Version 7.3.9i

    - no Nosewheel / tiller steering with steering set and the FBW A320 neo (but this has never worked with fsuipc, Asobo added the tiller axis in SU 9 and I remember writing with you, that you can not add it at the moment

    - Lua Parking Brake Script is working

    - All axis incl. toe brakes are working

  2. btw

the lua script for the parking brake stopped working with the latest fsuipc updates.

It wont start anymore, there is also no logging if I activte it and it's also not mentioned in the fsuipc log file.

I hadn't change anything there for the last months.

    edit

When I reload WASM in the FSUIPC Menu it works with the brake

    edit 2

The parking brake only works if I reload manually WASM after every FSUIPC start

Now I am confused....are you saying that you are not using profiles? Thats fine if you only fly one aircraft, but is really needed, especially in MSFS, if using various aircraft.

You have now set the profile aircraft name to 'FBW' - this will not catch the FBW aircraft as that string is not in the name, and so your general assignments that will be used. And as the A320ParkBrake.lua is only started in the profile, it won't be started.

Do you want to use profiles or not? I really suggest you do, if you have any intention of using any other aircraft with FSUIPC7. Decide on that, and then we can correct your FSUIPC7.ini accordingly.

    John

    Sorry, missed this:

I think only the Steering Set axis is exposed via SimConnect, but will check....

    Hi John,

perhaps I am using profiles without knowing it 🙂

I want to have the same settings in every aircraft at the moment, I am just flying the FBW A320 and the Fenix A320. For the FBW A320 I need the LUA Script to start a flight for my VA, because I need to release the parking brake to start a flight.

The Steering Set don't work via FSUIPC.

  4. Hi John,

I never had created an aircraft profile like the one for the fbw A320, I don't use this feature. Perhaps it's just an error by myself inserting the lua plugin for the parking brake for the FBW A320 without knowledge 🙂

Yes, the right brake suddenly disaperars during testing. I've added it again after uploading my logfile.

I've tried your ini file, but removed the FBW Profile. Ive to add the right brake again, it was empty

    Here are the logs:

Yes - I wrote that script a while ago as an example. I will update to use an event when I get a chance and repost.

    thx, this would be nice

I would do some tests with this new script and also with the script deactivated.

Maybe also check that you are using the latest experimental release. Can you also let me know if this is the only aircraft/version in which this occurs, and maybe switch to the stable or development version temporarily and check with that version.

I've a lua script for the parking brake (for the VA-Tracker), but using it for over a year without problems - could this be the issue?

Yes, I am always using the latest version of the FBW mod

I've downloaded the LUA Script from this forum and don't know how it's working..If you can optimize this scipt it  would be nice 🙂

  7. I am using simbridge, but it's activated for weeks without problems. The problems started some days ago. with manual and auto starting of FSUIPC.

Some seconds after loading the flight to the cockpit, the FSUIPC7 Icon disappears. Then I start it manually and after some seconds the same happens again..than it's like a loop.

I've a lua script for the parking brake (for the VA-Tracker), but using it for over a year without problems - could this be the issue?

Also I added a log with the fenix without crash

  8. Hi John,

FSUIPC7 is crashing just a few seconds after starting the flight (FBW A320 exp). It seems it is always the same error:

    The log is attached

Perhaps it's a problem with the FBW A320 Mod or their new SimBridge? With the Fenix A320 FSUIPC seems to be stable

  9. Hi,

I am running the latest version of FSUIPC in MSFS, but every the sim starts it won't auto load and when I am starting it manually,  it will close after seconds. This is the Error Log (in german):

  10. Hi,

with the last update for the MSFS their inserted a new tiller axis. It this axis already mapped in fsuipc? I can't find it there. I want to just use the tiller and not the tiller with the rudders in combination,

I don't want to use MSFS internal controls because of the mouse view bug and want to have all axis in fsuipc.

    thx

  11. I am using this script with sucsess in the FBW A320, but all other aircraft have problems getting the parking brake when this script is running

Is there a solution that this script is only activated with the FBW Mod or we can edit the script that other ac are not affected?

  12. Hi John,

this is the FBW a320 Mod in the exp. version.

When I am enabling logging, the logging file is flooding with inputs (it's about 85 MB in an hour). This is a little part of the log (without touching anything standing at the gate):

  13. Good morning,

I am using fsuipc7 for all my axis and it works, onyl the toe brakes axis won't be recognize by the sim. The axis is working in the calibration windows in fsuipc 7, but when I am pressing the axis in the sim, there's noting.

I've tried different options like 'send direct to fsuipc calibration' or send 'to fs as normal axis but the problem is always there.
