Just wanted to make sure my path was correct. I tried some of you suggestions and I want to double check to see if it was right.
[simConnect]
level=Verbose
file=C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\Simconnect%01u.Log
file_max_index=1
If i can confirm this I will try your suggestions
Thanks

Thanks Pete for such a quick replies. Right now I am following your suggestion and reinstalling FSX. If this doesn’t' t work I will try your suggestions and get back to you with the results.

Yes FSX did ask for permission for the certificate upon pressing the accepting I get the crash. Subsequent starts results in no request for authentication and immediately results in a CTD.

I installed FSUIPC4 4.01 for FSX and I when started FSX I got the dreaded blue screen which tells me "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. Bla Bla bla" When i remove FSUIPC4 4.01 from the modules folder FSX starts normally. Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks

As it stands it looks like Zone alarm was the culprit. Uninstalled and FSUIPC is working as it should. Thank you Pete for all your help and your diligence to the community your commitment has given me and countless others thousands of hours of joy.
Thanks
Mike
