[Issue Testing Demo]

Hello

Been a a user of 8.6 for a long time.

Just thought I'd test the demo of v9 occross my network, and I have a problem...

FSC db manager says 'Invalid Path'. It's not, as both the picture and FSC v8.6 verify.

Is it because it doesn't work accross a network in demo mode?

If that's all, then I guess I'll buy it.

Hello Dougal,

you have to share the drive where the fs folder sits in. The fs folder has to be seen in the share. Don't share the fs folder directly.

I hope I made it clear.

ich benutze den FSCommander (8.5) und habe nun ein Problem mit der neuen EDDH 2009 Szenerie von Aerosoft.

Die AFCAD Datei (AF2_EDDH_2009.bgl) ist die einzig noch vorhandene. FSCommander zeigt mir als ILS Kurs für RW15 142 Grad an. Das stimmt wohl so überhaupt nicht. Auch die anderen Angaben weichen ab. Laut Aerosoft Unterlagen sollte es so aussehen:

ILS RWY 05: 110,50 IHHE 049° (FSCOMMANDER: 52°) (FS9 Kartenansicht: 51°)

ILS RWY 15: 111,35 IHHS 152° (FSCOMMANDER: 142°!!! ) (FS9 Kartenansicht: 154°)

ILS RWY 23: 111,50 IHHW 229° (FSCOMMANDER: 232°) (FS9 Kartenansicht: 231°)

LOC RWY 33: 109,90 IHHN 332° (FSCOMMANDER: 334°) (FS9 Kartenansicht: 334°)

Ich habe den aktuellen DB Manager mehrmals aktualsieren lassen, auch alte Daten gelöscht, aber nichts hilft.

Außerdem habe ich in der Datenbankmanager-log-datei einen Eintrag gefunden, der aussagt dass af2_eddh_2009. bgl für ILs 15 ungültig ist. In einem anderen Forum hab ich auch schon versucht Aufklärung zu finden, aber ohne Erfolg.

Wie kann ich das korrigieren? Kann mir bitte jemand auf die Sprünge helfen? Kann jemand meine Daten bestätigen?

What I wood like is to position the GPS-Window to another location when opening OR set the wind direction arrow to another place. So I do not have to position the GPS-Window everytime I call it. Not a big one I think.

I am happy again :-)

I installed version 4.101 - no error reporting.

simconnect.ini reports same as above.

I deinstalled:

simconnect client 10.0.60905.0

simconnect client 10.0.61355.0 (fsx-sp1.20070510-2038)

FSX SDK original

FSX SDK SP1

Then:

did a reboot.

installed SDK from original DVD.

installed original simconnect.msi

run FSX, menu is back again.

I thank you for your outstanding and fast support.

Dear Pete,

after using your FSUIPC for long time without any problem, I now ran into trouble.

Yesterday I installed a clean FSX version due to SP1 on a new big Partition and of course deinstalled FSX before.

After installing and patching I installed FSUIPC and the installation went O.K. as the installation log says:

But there is no "addons menu" showing up in FSX.

I tried (I hope so) all hints given in this forum, but no success.

I have no 3rd party firewall installed.

FSX is allowed to connect all computers and internet (XP firewall exeptions)

Your software is trusted (in IE7 ...content)

I tried cryptograhic services fix like mentioned in your forum.

I tried to reinstall simconnect via simconnect.msi.

I am close to an complete reinstall of OS and FSX if their is no solution in sight.

So I am asking if you have any further idea of fixing this with out a complete reinstall.

If not, I know what to do on weekend :-)
