  1. Back when my cluster failed they also sent me a comm port 10 version of the software for troubleshooting. I think you can change the comm port # in device manager. Find the ports, expand, righ-click the port you want to change and select properties. Go to the port settings tab and click on 'Advanced.' Then you should be able to assign a specific comm port.

Good luck. I too am waiting for the fix so let me know if it works out.

  2. I had disconnected my KA engine cluster for some time and today reconnected it to FSX+SP1. It seems to be working normally except for the PROP RMP gauges. When I load the FSX default KA350, the PROP RPM gauges are pegged at 2100. Software UI for the cluster also shows the same 2100. However, the panel inside FSX shows the correct RPM values (which are lower than 2100 at idle).

I have version 1.2 of the FSX-KA Engine Cluster program.

Also, with other aircraft, such as the Baron, PROP RPM appears to indicate normally.

  3. I have the KA350 engine cluster and it has been working fine up until today. I was running FSX, when the gauges just seemed to freeze. I powered everything down and rebooted.

Now whenever I start the cluster software I'm told the comport does not exist or the device is not connected. I have confirmed that the com port does indeed exist. I even tried moving it around to a different USB port and saw that a new COM# was assigned for each port. However, the software could still not see it.

When I power on the gauges go through there initialization and the LEDs read 0000, but just no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
