  1. No, because more information is needed. Does it produce a Log (in the Modules folder of FSX)? Does it show an installation window with details? And the "error reporting tool" message has ways of getting lots more information -- I need some of that. Please take a closer look at it. But first and foremost I need the version. If it isn't the current one (4.16) go get that first please. Pete Pete, sorry for the delay in getting back to you havent had a chance to get to my pc for a couple of days. The version I was trying to install was version 4.16 Have just loaded flightsim to see what version I have installed and depsite the installer crashing it would appear it did install something as it says that I have version 4.16 installed. Checking the DLL also gives version 4.1.6, 28/08/2007 05:01 for what it is worth the error looks like this: Would you like me to send you the windows debub/dump file? (is a little large to post here) also, this is a list of all the processes running on the machine: Thanks, Marc
  2. Hi, am running FSX SP1 (with SDK installed) and have have a registered version of FSUIPC and WIDEFS installed (unsure of version at the moment, but will update when I get home). All appears to be working fine, have got it all working with Simmconnect etc so I can use FSUIPC and ASX on a remote pc. However I am trying to install the latest version of FSUIPC (the version I have installed is possibly a pre SP1 version) and the installer keeps crashing, no error message aside from the error reporting tool message. Any ideas why this may be happening? I am not running any AV or Firewalls etc on the system. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
